CANARY ISLANDS
The Canary Islands, also known informally as the "Canaries", is a Spanish archipelago in the middle of Atlantic Ocean (exactly 100 km west of Morocco & 1700 km south of Spain) in a region known as Macaronesia.
The main feature of this unique archipelago is the climate, mild all year round, and for this reason they are nicknamed "place of the eternal spring".
The eight main islands are (from largest to smallest in area) Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa, Furthermore includes many smaller islands and islets.
I personally have a special relationship with these lands, due to the fact that I have spent a lot of time here, both for work and for pleasure and every time I pass here, I always feel unique emotions.
